Autism Center | Fall 2022

According to the CDC, 1 in 59 children is estimated to have autism. Early intervention and support in these children can improve learning, communication, social skills, and underlying brain development. My approach in designing The Nest Center for children targeted specific triggers that cause overstimulation through lighting, acoustics, and color. The program of spaces offers interactive, social, learning, and therapeutic environments for anyone on the spectrum.
