About Me

Hi, my name is Vivian Nguy. I am a student of Interior Design and Business Administration. I have a passion for commercial, hospitality, retail, and high-end residential design. My experience working as a design intern and projects at university has given me the tools needed to further my career in interior design. In addition, I have received my WELL AP certification and anticipate applying my knowledge in health and well-being in my career.

I was born and raised in New Orleans and continued my education at Louisiana State University in 2018 where I began my college career in finance. During the spring of 2021, at the peak of COVID-19, I began to realize just how much interior environments affect our physical and mental health. I became very passionate about this topic and decided to switch my major to interior design to continue learning about how our interior environments shape our lives.

Design is important to me because interiors affect so many aspects of our lives and have the ability to create meaningful moments and improve lives. It is an outlet for me to express my creative side in a way that is purposeful, yet compassionate. In realizing this, I have found my passion to create environments that represent my ideals of design.

As a designer, I am very impressed the way design students at LSU are challenged in so many ways to become assets to companies such as ours. Due to Vivian’s maturity and creativity, she ranks very high on our scale of quality employees.
